Progress Schools – Wirral is a small, alternative education provider serving 27 pupils aged 11–16 who have struggled to engage with or been removed from mainstream education. The school operates a bespoke, supportive model with teaching delivered on a primary-school basis, allowing staff to know each pupil well and tailor provision to individual need. It is part of the national Progress Group, which runs 13 independently registered secondary schools, and aims to help pupils either return to mainstream or progress to positive post-16 destinations.
