Progress Schools Wigan is a small alternative education provider serving students aged 11–16 who have struggled to engage with or been removed from mainstream secondary education. Operating with a highly personalised, supportive approach and a primary-model teaching structure, the school aims to help young people re-engage with learning and progress toward positive post-16 destinations. It is part of the Progress Group, a national network of 13 independently registered alternative provision schools across England.
