Park School

Park School is a small, alternative primary school (ages 3–12) located on the Dartington Estate in South Devon, founded in 1987 by parents and educators seeking a child-centred, human-scale approach. Nature-rooted and hands-on, the school prioritizes deep knowledge of each pupil and learning through movement, creativity, and connection to the living landscape. With only 52 pupils, it embodies a relational ethos where emotional intelligence and individual agency matter as much as academic outcomes.
